Kindergarten English Language Arts and Literacy
My Dragon is Lost!
Learning Outcomes
- Children explore how messages can be organized.
- Children experiment with written expression of ideas and information.
- Children demonstrate understandings of messages communicated in texts.
Task Description
Students imagine they have a pet dragon. But oh no! Their dragon goes missing! After viewing a “Missing Cat” poster, they proceed to make their own “Missing Dragon” poster, in the hopes that someone will help them find their missing pet.
