IT'S THE RIGHT TIME FOR A NEW CONVERSATION ABOUT...
- Large-scale Assessment
- Engaging the Public
- Assessment and Reporting Systems
- The Promise of Formative Assessment
With a new curriculum on the horizon and new professional standards now in place, it is absolutely the right time for a new conversation about assessment.
Sam Sellar will provide perspective from his international research in the areas of datafication, commercialization and accountability. Then join with leadership colleagues in rich conversation to envision possibilities for assessment in Alberta. But conversation alone isn't enough - you'll leave with concrete actions that you can undertake now to shift the culture and the conversation about assessment towards the future desired state.
Audience: Jurisdiction Leadership Teams & School Leaders
Note: This year, school jurisdictions are not limited in the number of delegates they can register as long as there is space available in the conference.
